In Monty Python Style, from the writers of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)
A Different Corner Productions joins forces with Drama Queen Productions to bring you a new comedy, an Australian Premier:
The Bible: The Complete Word of God (Abridged)
“It’s crazy. It’s zany. And a little Profane-y.” Sister Mary Ann Walsh – Arlington Catholic Herald, Virginia
“Two hours of non-stop silliness. It is simply a nutty two hours of fun.” Alan Field – WLG Radio, Baltimore
Thou shalt not miss the new comedy from the Reduced Shakespeare Company bad boys of abridgement who bought you the smash hit The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). This new comedy puts the fun back in fundamentalism!
Yes, it’s an affectionate, irreverent roller coaster ride from fig leaves to Final Judgment as we tackle the great theological questions: Did Adam and Eve have navels? Did Moses really look like Charlton Heston? And why isn’t the word “phonetic” spelled the way it sounds? It’s special effects, partial nudity, violence and of course farmyard animals…It’s apocalypse now. Can bolts of lightning be far behind?
Whether you are Catholic or Atheist, Muslim or Jew, Protestant or Purple People Eater, you will be tickled by this affectionate retelling of the ultimate bestseller.
